Ilana Den – Founder, Co-Owner & Director

Ilana founded CC Conferences and Corporate Events (as Conference Call) in 1996 after stints in corporate travel with Jetset Travel and the hotel industry with Hilton International and Sheraton. Ilana’s infectious personality ensures all clients eventually become friends and each week she seems to be catching up for a coffee with a client from years ago. She has a keen eye for detail and is meticulous in everything she does.

 

David Dymmott – Co-Owner & Director

David has found plenty of good deals to be had for groups to Asia!

Prior to becoming a director and co-owner here David worked in the travel industry for over 12 years, including wholesale, airline, inbound and corporate events. This included the positions of General Manager at Axis Events and Unique Journeys. David’s extensive network and excellent relationships with suppliers adds immense value for our clients. Complete with a smile from 9am-5pm, you’ll be hard pressed to find David ever looking stressed.

 

Sally Goodchild – Account Manager

Sally is beginning to work on a large conference in Cairns which is taking place in May.  Cairns is one of her favourite locations so she’s looking forward to this conference!

Sally is a goldmine of experience having worked in the conference and incentive industry for 25 years! She’s an invaluable member of our team through her in-depth appreciation of how it all works and what will appeal to the clients. Having come originally from airlines, she also understands the “ins and outs” of group travel and has handled groups all over the world as well as around Australia. Not one to hang back on a Friday night, she usually fronts up at the bar along with Ilana, David and Laura!

 

Laura Tucker – Account Manager

Laura a HUGE March so is busy planning.!!

Laura is our European expert. Having worked for a large PCO in the UK, she brings great knowledge of the European market and a wealth of experience in dealing with large groups. Almost three years ago Laura decided that she wanted to see the sun again and moved to Sydney to take up a position in the CC offices. And she’s never looked back. Always delightful and positive around the offices Laura also finds it hard to miss ‘cocktail hour’ Fridays – a reliable team member till the end!

 

Rebecca Rodger – Account Manager

Rebecca is getting ready for a busy few weeks with events in the Blue Mountains and Sydney.

No one knows hotels like Rebecca, CC’s newest member. After 12 years of working in the hotel industry for well renowned brands Crowne Plaza and InterContinental, Rebecca decided it was time for a change and pursued her goal of working with a Professional Conference Organiser. But not before she took on a plum role as the Conference and Events Manager at the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa. Jealous anyone? Rebecca’s hotel background brings invaluable qualities to both the CC team and our clients.

 

Melissa Waller –Office All Rounder

Melissa is busy working on events in Israel!

Melissa has been with us for over 10 years…but can we really say that? Starting out as a young graduate, Melissa has worked on and off, most recently due to the arrival of baby boy number two. Now, finally back amongst the adults, Melissa is working part time, sharing her enthusiasm for both the industry and our new offices. Melissa is a top project manager and venue finder and has worked both here in Sydney and at the University of London.
